Malappuram RTO

Malappuram RTO was established for the purpose of effectively carrying out the provisions made under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, considering the development and changes in the Road Transport Technology, Pattern of passenger and freight movements, development of road networks in the state and particularly the improved techniques in the motor vehicles management.

The Malappuram RTO comes under Motor Vehicles Department of Kerala and is headed by the Transport Commissioner.

A motor insurance policy is mandatory for every vehicle registered at Malappuram RTO as per The Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.
